3) System Analyst / Architect

Location : Chantilly, Fairfax, VA

Job Description:
Entry-level position that requires close and direct supervision and hands-on training in and assist with performing the following tasks/duties: Work with a Business Analyst and Programmer / QA Analyst to analyze, design, develop, testing/QA, implementation, deploy, integrate and support of Petitioner’s “Resources WebPortal Project”; Work with the Business Analyst and Project Lead to determine, analyze, and specify the computer systems/application’s requirements and specifications for the Project, assist in plan, design and building of the computer system architect, interfaces and workflows, web forms for development of the webportal, programming, coding and developing the system/applications’ prototype; develop and documents the SOA architecture; designing web pages and web forms creating the database tables, views and writing stored procedures and queries for SQL server using SQL Scripts, installation, configuration management, deployment, migration and implementation of the network and database systems, webportal deployment and integration onto the Website, and ensure interconnectivity between and among business users and various network communications devices and various business locations; work with the QA for testing and enhancement, and implementation of the system/application; maintain and troubleshoots the systems/networks / servers and ensure that they are up to date, perform disaster recovery, system monitoring and maintenance, 24x7 technical support, etc. Will train and utilize technologies and tools such as: Java, Java Scripts, PL/SQL, Oracle databases, Web Sphere, SQL Scripts, Visual Studio, Visual SourceSafe, Win Runner, XML., CSS, HTML, Windows, etc.

Key Requirements / Job Skills (mandatory)
We require the System Analyst / Architect to have at least a Bachelor's or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS/IT/MCA and 2 years’ in related experiences in software/systems or databases, networks/webportal design, programming and development or the equivalent of a Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS/IS or related fields.

4) IT Projects Managers / Sr. Software Engineers

Location : Chantilly, VA

Job Description:
Responsible for IT projects management including projects planning, coordination, scheduling, preparation and presentation of technical documentations for IT Projects solicitation and proposals to clients and other team members, perform IT projects systems/applications requirements gathering, analysis and specifications, design and develop applications/systems workflows and interfaces, ensure quality assurance, integration and deployment of Projects and lead in the testing and implementation of the projects, systems/applications, using diversified programming languages, technologies and tools. Chantilly, VA with some domestic travels to clients/projects sites.

Key Requirements / Job Skills (mandatory)

  • BS in Computer Science/Engineering, Software Engg or MIS/IS and 6 years related experiences.
  • Which should include at least 2-years experiences in managing, planning and/or coordination of IT/SW development Projects/products or technical team.
  • Employer will accept a combination of 2 or 3 years degrees or diplomas which together are determined by a professional evaluation service or college professor or admissions officer to be equivalent to a BS degree.

5) Digital Video Test Engineer

Location : Ashburn, VA

Job Description:
Sets up, manages, and reports on all testing activities, including the overall development and definition of the testing strategy, test plans, test cases, testing resources, and testing environments, as well as test execution.

Key Requirements / Job Skills (mandatory)

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills – Must be able to understand instructions and to communicate issues to their test leads.
  • Experience with complex process flow and business rules
  • Organized with a strong attention to detail

Digital Video (mandatory)

  • Video Post Production with a Major Studio or Broadcaster
  • Knowledge in Final Cut Pro Studio
  • Video experience (Digital Video Systems, Video Compression Technology, MPEG, AVC/H.264,)
  • Experience with IP protocols, streaming media formats (Smooth Streaming, HLS, HTTP Dynamic Streaming, HTML 5), and Digital Rights Management
  • Hands on experience with transcoding applications such as Agility, Flip Factory, Rhozet, etc.
  • Hands on experience with MPEG analysis using applications such as Cerify, Manzanita, etc.
6) Video Performance Test Engineer
Location : Waltham, MA

Job Description:

  • Expertise with Over the Top (OTT) Technologies including Apple HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) and Microsoft Smooth Streaming.
  • Ability to provision and manage Web Servers (Microsoft ISS & Apache) for streaming technologies (Origin Servers).
  • Familiarity with Velocix Content Delivery networks (CDN)
  • Analyze requirements, write test plans, construct test beds, execute test cases and document results.
  • Conduct periodic status meetings with vendor and client on testing and trouble ticket status.
  • Maintain all requisite records, policies and procedures to support ISO certified organization. Strong written and verbal communications and presentation skills

Day to day activities include:

  • Read and review product documentation and manuals, requirements and design documents.
  • Create and follow test plans to cover specific requirements.
  • Getting into a setup with limited information, and quickly understand the situation and identify potential problems.
  • Apply a systematic process to narrow down and identify the root cause of problems.
  • Explain technical problems and scenarios using non-technical language.
  • Work in a team sharing documents and communicating information.
  • Ability to follow processes, but to think outside of the box. Familiarity with traditional Video Head Ends (Trancoding, Muxing, Conditional Access, VoD, etc.) is a must.
7) System Administrator
Location : Ashburn, VA

  • VMWare Datacenter Virtualization (VCP or VCAP certification or equivalent experience); VMWare vSphere – ESX/ESXi at least 4.x,; installation and upgrade (cloning) of the entire VM environment; backup and restore using snapshot technology.
  • HP c7000 BladeSystem, NAS, VLANS, TCP/IP – and Flex-10 or Virtual Connect.
  • High Availability analysis and testing

8) Java Developer
Location : Irving, TX

Job Description:

  • 6+ years experience in Java application development
  • Specialization: J2EE architecture, Java programming, Web logic.
  • Key Responsibilities & Projects: Design, coding, unit testing of key marketing and strategic deliverables. Good understanding of weblogic to trouble shoot production (deployment) problems and recommend tuning.
  • Operating Systems SunOS, Linux/Windows
  • Database: Oracle 8i, 9i, 10G

9) .Net developer
Location : Irving, TX

Job Description:

  • Design, develop, test and coordinate deployment of IT initiatives into non
  • prod and prod environments
  • Use software engineering, PCI and security (SPI) standards for design and development
  • Analyze and translate business requirements in to detail design
  • Create detail design specification document for development team
  • Coordinate with offshore teams in India, using the global service delivery model, for development, testing and deployment activities
  • Develop monitoring and metrics reporting scripts for performance assurance
  • Closely monitor production for operational stability

Required Skills and Education

  • Bachelors degree in computer science or related field

Job Description:

  • Proven end-to-end software development lifecycle IT Program/Project Management skills
  • Experience managing multiple IT projects end to end completing the delivery of the IT requirements
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities that are in different phases of the IT Release timeline
  • Excellent MS Project, Excel, Word and Outlook skills
  • Ability to host review and update sessions to clarify requirements to set clear expectations and gain consensus from IT development, IT test and clients for each IT release
